Great to get back on the bike this morning and get a quick ride in Griffith Park with my homies Schuyler Harris and Chris Loria! We met in 2022 training to ride the AIDS/LifeCycle, 545-miles from San Francisco to LA. Schuyler is riding again this summer.

On the 2nd Sunday at my faith community, Harmony Toluca Lake UMC (a campus of Hollywood United Methodist Church), we have “Brunch and Learn.” Today we learned from our own Bishop in Residence, Bishop Mary Ann Swenson, about Methodist history and General Conference. She brought a “Book of Discipline” from 1864. She challenged us to “hold the hope” telling us “God’s promise is beyond our humanness.” We had Costa Rican inspired cuisine for brunch with our own Lucino leading the kitchen crew!

Great training today with Dr. William Lucas on podcasting at our California State University-Dominguez Hills Faculty Development Center! This was the first session of a 3-part series. I have always wanted to do a podcast!

My "Digital Toolkit" course had the opportunity to learn from our California State University-Dominguez Hills university photographer, Matt Brown. He is a commercial photographer, documentary filmmaker, screenwriter, and podcaster with over 35 years of professional experience. Matt has worked with ESPN the Magazine, Sport Illustrated, and Newswek. He has shot portraits of numerous world famous athletes and stars that have included Shaq, Kareem Abdul-Jabar, Vin Scully, David Beckham, Magic Johnson, and Kobe Bryant.
