In my Mexican culturewe always find ways to incorporate an element of surprise or toaddbrightnessto anything we do. Living a colorful lifeand adding spice is what we enjoy the mostand you can see that on the way that we dress, our crafts, the music and also our food.
We are passionate and love everything that is happy andthat smells good like theGlade® Radiant Berries™candles, withhints of berries, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and yumberries.
This recipe for the spicy chilled raspberry soup is inspired in the aromas of the berries andthe red and pink color hues that the Glade® Radiant Berries™candles have. This time of the year is perfect to bring berries and citrus to our table as they are in season. Eating in a colorful way it is also a good way to provide variety in the menu we offer to those we love.
The color red is bright, vivid and beautiful. You can make amazing dishes with berries and citrus, and let’’s face it-who doesn’t like the tart and sweet flavors of fresh raspberries combined with the sweetness of a blood orange and the lusciousness of creamy Greek yogurt.
The red and pink colors evoke romance, brightness and boldness, the perfect combination that I have used to create this well balanced soup. When you taste it you will understand this, since with every spoon you will feel these sensations.
I invite you to try my recipe for your next romantic dinner for two. Set the mood with a nice tablescape, fresh flowers and light one of theGlade® Radiant Berries™ candles. Then, Feel Bright. Feel Glade®.
Bon appétit!
