🚇✨ Friends, let's celebrate together a significant milestone – 50 years since the Prague Metro started operating! 🎉 Let's take a moment to reflect on how this monumental project has influenced not just Prague, but has resonated across the globe. An interesting fact worth mentioning is that the Prague Metro is considered one of the most comfortable, cleanest, and most efficient public transportation systems in the world. 🌍 What fills our hearts with pride, however, is the connection of this system to Škoda Group Our contribution to the supply and modernization of vehicles, which facilitate the daily movement of thousands of people throughout the capital, is a clear testament to our commitment to constant innovation and improving life in our metropolis.I have my own amusing anecdote related to the Prague Metro. 🤭 One day, in a rush to an important meeting, I mistakenly entered the wrong line and instead of arriving at the meeting, I ended up on the complete other side of Prague. This small mishap, however, led me to discover a café that became my most frequent stop. As it turns out, sometimes unplanned circ*mstances lead you to the best discoveries. ☕️🚆Join me in celebrating this significant anniversary. It's a great opportunity to appreciate everyone who has contributed and continues to contribute to this amazing project. Thank you for your bravery, innovative thinking, and for making our journeys better every day. Here's to another 50 years of innovation and success! 🥂 #PragueMetro #50Years #ŠkodaGroup #Innovation #Travel

🏡🌲 When dreams and reality dance on the edge of possibility… 🌈✨Since childhood, I’ve dreamed of a place where I could escape the world’s hustle and find peace. A place I could call home, not just for myself, but for friends seeking refuge from everyday reality. And so, I found this magical spot in Šumava undergoing extensive renovations - my “guilty pleasure” that embodies all my dreams. 🛠️🏗️“Playing the piano is easy. You just press the right keys at the right time, and the instrument practically plays itself.” - Johann Sebastian Bach. That’s exactly how I imagined this renovation: easy, quick… Until I realized that dreaming leads to tripling the timeline and doubling the budget! 😅💸But what would we be as dreamers if we didn’t let our visions be challenged by a bit of reality, right? 🌟🔨 This house is becoming not just a witness to my dreaming but a labor of love that tests my boundaries and imagination. And one day, hopefully soon, this haven of tranquility will be opened to you as well - for those wanting to enjoy a piece of fairy tale and peace amidst the natural paradise of Šumava. So, if the idea of escaping to a world where dreams meet reality appeals to you, keep your fingers crossed and follow this journey with me! 🌳🏡❤️

🚢⏳ Dear colleagues and friends in HR, today we commemorate the 112th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic, and on this occasion, allow me to share a few lessons that the Titanic has brought to the world of HR.1.Never overestimate the “unsinkable” – Just as the Titanic could sink, even the strictest HR processes can sometimes fail. It’s important to have enough “lifeboats” in the form of flexible HR policies.2.Prioritize skills over titles when hiring – Perhaps if the Titanic had more experienced sailors instead of just nice certificates, history would have been different. Similarly, in HR, we look for those who can navigate the turbulent waters of the corporate world.3.Prepare for icebergs – In the corporate world, you will encounter more than one “icy obstacle”. Preparation, adaptability, and the ability to respond quickly are key.4.Communication is key – The Titanic suffered from a lack of effective communication with other ships. In HR, we learn that open and effective communication can save not just projects, but careers.5.Learn from mistakes – The biggest lesson? Don’t repeat the same errors. Every failure in HR is an opportunity to learn and improve. So, the next time you see a recruitment process heading swiftly towards an “iceberg”, remember that courage, adaptability, and teamwork can alter the course and ensure a safe voyage. And remember, in HR, we always have enough life vests. 🛳️💼 #HR #Titanic112 #CorporateLessons

🚴♂️🛍️ This weekend, our family embraced a different kind of "team building". While the boys ventured on a 25km bike ride to the neighboring town – overcoming several falls yet triumphantly navigating all the road's challenges to arrive safely, in line with my belief that children should experience hunger, cold, and fear, the ladies part of the family embarked on a different kind of adventure – spending my bonuses in Pilsen. 💸This split approach to the weekend reminds me of the situation in many companies and sparks a debate about male vs. female collectives and whether absolute gender balance at the workplace is necessary. From my perspective, every team needs diversity – whether it's in gender, skills, or experiences. Just like in our family, where each part experienced its own adventure, it's crucial at work for everyone to bring something unique to the team. And although achieving gender balance can sometimes be a challenge, it's the path towards creating stronger and more balanced teams. And to conclude, let's note that a guy in HR can sometimes be seen as a unicorn – rare, but when you find one, it's something magical. 🦄 #FamilyWeekend #HR #Diversity #Unicorn

Hello LinkedIn community! 👋Today I have something a bit light-hearted to share, but with a valuable lesson. Take a look at the attached image and you’ll see that even with the best intentions and striving for perfection, we can make mistakes. Yes, that patchy green was once my lawn - now it's more of a memory of a lawn, a peaceful oasis... which I 'enhanced' with too much care. 🌾💔As it happens, I wanted only the best for my lawn, so I decided on an extra dose of fertilizer💩. The result? I'm contemplating starting a new trend: 'Punk Garden'! Indeed, that patchy look could be the next hit - an "organically" patterned area that's a living example that "more" isn't always "better". 😅Now on a serious note. In the HR world, we're always looking for ways to improve our workplaces, teams, and processes. But sometimes, simplicity and moderation can be our best tools. Oscar Wilde said, “Experience is one thing you can't get for nothing.” And true enough, I had to learn this rather "fertilized" lesson on my own, but I hope you can gain from it without consequences. 😊Next time you want to "improve" something, remember my lawn and ask yourself: "Is this really necessary?" Or, as Einstein would say, "Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler." And that includes fertilizer.Wishing you all a wonderful day and remember: even an over-fertilized lawn can be a great teacher - at least when it comes to fertilizers. 😄 #LifeLessons #LessIsSometimesMore #HRInspiration

Hello LinkedIn community! 👋 Returning to work after a well-deserved break can be daunting. I want to share a strategy to ease this transition and kick off the first day back after Easter with the right mindset.Start with a short “reintegration meeting” with yourself. Review your calendars and to-do lists and update them according to priorities. Set realistic goals for the first day, whether it’s responding to the most critical emails or having a brief sync-up meeting with your team. 🗓️Allow yourself moments of rejuvenation – a short walk in the fresh air or a five-minute meditation can work wonders. And remember, productivity isn’t about how many tasks you complete, but how efficiently you can work on what really matters. What’s your ritual for the first day back at work? Share with us! 🔄 #BackToWork #ProductivityTips #HRInsights

🚀 Game-changing Decision: Czech Government Approves 4-Day Workweek! 🎉On Monday morning, an unexpected announcement was made that has the potential to completely change the work culture in the Czech Republic. After intense negotiations and with the support of several key ministries, the Czech government decided to approve a groundbreaking proposal: the introduction of a four-day workweek for all public and private employment sectors. This step is a response to the growing calls for a better balance between work and personal life, as well as studies indicating that a shorter workweek can lead to higher productivity and employee satisfaction.🌍 The shift towards a 4-day workweek is a trend gaining popularity in many European countries, and now the Czech Republic is joining the avant-garde of this change. What will this mean for the job market? How will it change the dynamics in offices and production halls? And how will this move affect our competitiveness and innovative capacity?⏰ But before we get too carried away dreaming about long weekends, we must admit that… Yes, this is an APRIL FOOL’S JOKE! 😄However, the idea of a four-day workweek is not just a figment of imagination. Discussions about reducing working hours while maintaining full pay are happening across Europe, and some companies have already successfully tested this model. What benefits could this bring? Imagine increased productivity, better mental health for employees, higher loyalty to the company, and a lower environmental impact due to fewer commutes.🔍 What do you think? Is a four-day workweek the future we should strive for? What challenges and opportunities do you see in this model? 💬#HR #LaborMarket #Innovation #FourDayWorkweek #AprilFool
